Boxed In

New illustration for The Nation's June 2, 2008 issue.
The article, titled "Boxed In" and written by Peter C. Baker, deals with voting reform and questions the fairness of the voting process.
This was done mostly by collaging layers of different layers of watercolor, ink drawings (my own), and fragments of old etchings (found). I put it all together in photoshop.
Editors: John Palattella and Christine Smallwood

Doug great piece man! I agree with Jenny on the point that I never know what to expect, yet the consistancy is always there.
I have been out of touch but am slowly but surely getting back into the swing of things...
Thanks for all the comments on my blog!

Good to hear from you Jen and Andrew, thanks for checking in and giving some feedback. Andrew, I'm looking forward to your "post-thesis" art work (your project was beautiful!) and Jen I'm glad you are back home and will be posting more great stuff soon. I've been missing your blog posts! Nicola and I both love "My Travelin' Eye".
